South Korea approves $3.5bn in funding to cohost Olympics | South Korea News

The proposal for a joint North-South bid was agreed to by the leaders of the two countries at their last summit.

But it will cost $3.5bn for South Korea alone, a price tag that is expected to climb steeply.

Al Jazeera’s Rob McBride reports from Seoul.
