Further movements are being recorded in the English Premiership .The latest was the return to Everton by Wayne Rooney who has officially left Manchester United after undergoing medicals at Everton.
Actually, Rooney has simply returned to his old club from which joined Manchester United over a decade ago.
Rooney who has been captain of England and Manchester United said in a statement, “It is some time since I said that the only Premier League club I would play for other than Manchester United was Everton, so I am delighted that the move has happened.
“Thirteen years ago I went to United with the intention of winning trophies and I have been fortunate to be a part of one of the most successful periods in the club’s history.
“I have come back to Everton because I believe Ronald Koeman is building a team that can win something and I look forward to playing my part in making that a reality for the club I have supported since a boy.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea has announced the signing of German international Antonio Rudiger from Roma.Rudiger was part of the recent sterling performance by Germany which won the Confederation Cup in Russia.
Rudiger reportedly said ,”I am looking forward to meeting up with my new teammates and I’m very proud to officially become a Chelsea player.”
