Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has made a number of changes to his line-up for today’s Round of 16 clash against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon at the Alexandria Stadium, reports

First choice goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi, Kenneth Omeruo, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi and Moses Simon all make a return to the starting line-up following last Sunday’s shocking 2-0 loss to the Barea of Madagascar.

Akpeyi, who plays for South Africa club, Kaizer Chiefs will take the place of Ikechukwu Ezenwa in goal, while Omeruo will replace Leon Balogun.

Ndidi and Iwobi will operate in midfield along with Oghenekaro Etebo, with John Ogu and captain John Mikel Obi making way for the duo.

Rohr has kept with Odion Ighalo in attack who will be flanked by Moses Simon and Ahmed Musa.
