Nearly a winter transfer
In the winter, Juventus’ talent Moise Kean (Photo) nearly transferred to AC Milan. “Leonardo and I did everything we could do, but Juve said no,” said Mino Raiola, agent to the young Italian pro. Why the agent now made this story public, and quoted by several Italian media outlets, is likely to be obvious: Juve are said to be feeling the pressure of losing their much-hyped gem should he not play a permanent role with the “Old Lady.” Kean playing a permanent role, is far from the case at the minute.
In the current Series A season, Kean only has 98 minutes of play – mostly tactical substitutions. In the only game Kean started (4:1 against Udinese), he walked off the field after 80 minutes with two goals and a confident stride. The fact that Juve is so careful with the youngsters playing time does not please Raiola, especially in new contract negotiations. “They’re stopped at the moment,” he continued, “The boy will always have to play.”

Meanwhile, opportunities for an extension are slowly going away. Juventus has only contracted the attacker until 2020. If there is no agreement by the summer transfer window, then one year before the end of his contract, he is likely to transfer.
In the meantime, Raiola is much more straightforward while negotiating for another of his well-known protégés. Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (20) of AC Milan “will extend,” the agent insisted. According to “Corriere dello Sport,” the new contract for Kean’s fellow national team colleague is as follows: Contract until 2024 instead of 2021, and a 7 million euro annual net salary.
