Roma have officially signed midfielder Bryan Cristante from Atalanta on a permanent basis.
Roma brought in Cristante on loan with obligation to buy last summer, and the club confirmed on Thursday that the option had been exercised.
The Giallorossi paid €5m to loan the Italy international and will follow up with a further €15m for the permanent transfer, ahead of €10m in performance-related bonuses.
The Milan youth product has gone on to establish himself in Roma’s first team, making 31 appearances, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
A busy morning at the Lupi’s offices has also seen general manager Mauro Baldissoni promoted to the role of Vice-President.
