Over 100 updates

Transfermarkt.us has updated the values of over 100 MLS professionals. The biggest winner of the interim update is Argentine Luciano Acosta (Photo) of D.C. United, whom Paris Saint-Germain planned to sign in January, but the signing ultimately failed because of his current club’s veto. The 24-year-old attacker’s value was raised from 1.75 to 4.5 million euros due to PSG’s interest.

Another big winner from this update is the left winger Alexandru Mitrita (24) from New York City FC. The Romanian International joined from CS U Craiova at the beginning of February for a record transfer fee of 8 million euros. His value has consequently initially been upgraded from 3.5 to 6 million euros.

There is, on the other hand, depreciations for former Bundesliga pro Marco Fabián (29, Philadelphia Union) and Argentina’s Ex-international Nico Gaitán (31, Chicago Fire). The market value of Fabián fell from 3 to 2.5 million euros, and Gaitán’s value dropped by 2 million and now stands at 6.5 million euros.
