Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba is confident his side will beat Angola in Wednesday’s second group game at the ongoing Africa U17 Cup of Nations in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania reports Completesports.com.
The five –time champions kicked of their campaign on a nervy note defeating hosts, Tanzania 5-4 and a win over Angola’s U17 who edged Uganda 1-0 in their opening game in Sunday will see them advance for the semi finals of the competition and automatically qualify for the FIFA U17 World Cup slated for Brazil later this year.
“Half of the boys in my team have not been on a plane before,” Garba revealed during his pre-match conference ahead of the game.
“They are inexperienced but we will take each gane as it comes and ahead of the game against Angola, the team will be better and win.”
Meanwhile, all four semi finalists at the ongoing championship in Tanzania will represent Africa in Brazil.
In Wednesday’s other match of Group A, hosts Tanzania will tackle Uganda in a match of two teams still hunting for their first points at the tournament.
