“Mister No Good” remains on board: Juventus has prematurely extended the contract with Mario Mandzukic (Photo), which was originally valid until 2020. The Italian record champion officially announced on Thursday at lunchtime that the 32-year-old signed a new contract until June 30, 2021.

The former Bundesliga professional, who played for VfL Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich between 2011 and 2014, joined Juve from Atlético Madrid for € 21m in the summer of 2015. Since then, the Croatian has played 159 games for the Bianconeri, scoring 43 goals. In the current season, Mandzukic is the team’s second-best scorer behind Cristiano Ronaldo. In 30 games he has been directly involved in 16 goals.
