IGP removes, replaces Adamawa, Imo, Plateau CPs

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the redeployment of the Commissioners of Police (CP) in charge of Adamawa, Imo and Plateau states.

Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), DCP Frank Mba, in a press statement, Tuesday in Abuja, said    CP Olugbenga Adeyanju was deployed to Adamawa state;  CP Isaac Olutayo Akinmoyede to Imo state;  CP Audu Adamu Madaki to FCID, FHQ, Abuja;  and    CP Edward Chuka Egbuka to Plateau state.    

He said while urging residents of the affected states to accord the new CPs maximum support and cooperation, the IGP charged the newly posted officers to ensure that they effectively consolidate and improve on the performances of their predecessors.  

The Force spokesperson said the postings were with immediate effect.
