The Elton John biopic Rocketman will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival next month.
The movie, which stars Taron Egerton as the British singer and pianist, will be screened at the famous French Riviera event on May 16.
It is directed by Dexter Fletcher, who stepped in to replace Bryan Singer on the Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody after he was fired.
Sir Elton himself is a producer on Rocketman, which is more of a musical-biopic hybrid.
It will be released in the UK on May 24.
The 72nd annual Cannes Film Festival runs from May 14-25.
As previously announced, Jim Jarmusch’s zombie comedy The Dead Don’t Die will open the festival.
