In December 2014 it was reported that Laurie had split from her husband John Milroy, after five years together.
The star – who had been with her partner since 2009 – was allegedly devastated when the pair decided to call time on their relationship.
A source told The Sun on Sunday at the time: ‘Laurie was heartbroken when she and John split up, but both of them knew the relationship had run it’s course.
‘It became clear it just wasn’t working – they weren’t happy together.’
In character: Laurie first appeared in EastEnders in 2004, with her character, Jane, having a brief fling with Grant Mitchell before she married Ian Beale – becoming his fourth wife (Pictured in EastEnders promotional shots with co-star Adan Woodyatt who played Ian Beale)
The former couple have a daughter together, Erin, aged eight.
