Chelsea not to sell Hudson-Odoi under any circumstance – Bayern still in pursuit

Risk of free transfer

Chelsea FC reportedly do not want to sell young star Callum Hudson-Odoi under any circumstances – even if the Blues were to otherwise face a fee-less transfer. As the London-based “The Times” reports, an early transfer is ruled out, even if the 18-Year-old does not renew his contract. The winger still has a contract at Chelsea FC until the summer of 2020. If this expires he could then leave the club without any transfer fee.

Already showing great interest in the player during this winter transfer period, was Bayern Munich. Sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic confirmed the desire to immediately sign Hudson-Odoi, but even then, the Londoners denied. The new international has reportedly asked his club for transfer clearance, however the recent transfer ban placed on Chelsea will make it even harder to leave the club.

The German record champion still wants to continue to pursue signing the winger. The Munich residents had offered a transfer fee of at least 30 million euros. Afterwards, Chelsea had criticized Bayern’s attempts to sign their prized youngster. Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United are also said to have entered the race to sign Hudson-Odoi
