The Eredivisie’s hottest teams are Ajax and PSV – the most apt player, however, is in Willem II’s Alexander Isak (19, Photo). Overall, Isak, who was only able to play in 13 games at BVB since January of 2017, has been directly involved in Willem II’s last 11 goals. He has scored at least once in his last seven games with the Eredivisie side – this feat was last achieved in the Eredivisie by Vincent Janssen (24) for AZ Alkmaar ahead of his € 22m transfer to Tottenham in the 2015/16 season.

The loan is limited to the duration of this season – the “Kicker” last reported Isak will again be firmly part of the BVB’s professional squad in the summer as a back-up striker for Paco Alcácer. According to the Spanish sports daily “Mundo Deportivo,” FC Barcelona is said to have renewed its interest in the Swede, who is now one of Europe’s highest goal scoring teenagers thanks to his record-breaking run. Only Bayer pro Kai Havertz (19) has scored more league goals this season, but he needed 29 games to do so.
